Parent Information Session on Cybersafety

WHO:   For Parents of Junior High Students
(however Upper Elementary and High School parents are welcome)

WHEN:  Tuesday, April 9, 2019 6:30-8pm

WHERE:  Sir John A High School Cafeteria

WHAT :  The session will include:
• Presentation by Provincial CyberSCAN Unit
• A look at how social media is impacting children & youth
• Importance of being aware of technology our children & youth are using
• Information about real life case examples of cyberbullying, child exploitation, and unhealthy social media activity
• Suggestions/ tips of how to monitor, support, and encourage
safe use of social media
